TBTLA is a non-profit organization whose membership is limited to current and former technology executives. Its two-fold mission is to apply the collective experience of the membership to real-world technology problems, and to mentor students – and other professionals – who are anticipating careers in information technology.
We are not a forum for vendors to market their products or services. We do not invite vendors to solely demonstrate their new software. Through facilitated discussion groups, we help each other resolve business problems. We do not allow active selling, so you can attend a TBTLA event and don’t have to be concerned that sales people will be targeting you with phone calls and emails.
Our Mission is..
“…To be the premier membership organization connecting Tampa Bay’s technology leaders with rising talent and students through mentoring, information sharing, and valued presentations and speakers, growing our industry talent in the Bay area.”
TBTLA offers quarterly meetings with the hottest technology based topics facilitated by industry leaders.
In addition to our quarterly meetings, we also provide social networking events throughout the year. Our socials are an opportunity for Information Technology Leaders to get to know each other personally and to have some fun in an unstructured format.
Working with Tampa Bay area colleges and universities, our membership provides trained mentors to help develop students and new managers who will be entering the information technology community.
